Last week, Class 3 visited Tees Barrage. They enjoyed learning how rivers are formed, how rivers have changed over time, how Tees Barrage control water flow and the animals that live there.

Yesterday, Class 3 visited Boroughbridge Manor Care Home - Barchester Healthcare , they delivered Christmas cards they had made for the residents and sang some carols! Thank you for having us.

‘Whoops-a-Daisy Angel’
A huge well done to Class 1 for their wonderful ‘Whoops-a-Daisy Angel’ nativity performance! A big thank you to all the Class 1 staff for their hard work, and to parents and carers for providing costumes and coming along to support the children. 'The Decider' Life Skills
Over the past four weeks, our Year 6 pupils have taken part in a series of sessions led by the Harrogate Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Each week, they learned valuable strategies to support and strengthen their mental health.

Carol Singing
Yesterday, some of our Sing Up choir took part in the Boroughbridge Christmas Lights Switch On and they sang beautifully! It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Sanctuary Day
Yesterday we celebrated our school’s Sanctuary Day. The hall became a peaceful space with ten reflective activities for the children. It was a special time for calm and reflection.

Michael Rosen Day
Today is Michael Rosen Day! You might know him as the beloved author of We’re Going on a Bear Hunt. This morning, we joined hundreds of other schools in a live poetry webinar with Michael Rosen himself! This afternoon, each class will be creating their own poems inspired by the theme of kindness and there will be prizes for the best poem from each class.
